Local Awards and Scholarships

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship: Instituted in 1998, this annual award, held at the club, district and international levels, helps women pursue accredited business related university degrees.

The Amelia Earhart Fellowship Award Program: Amelia Earhart Fellowships support women pursuing graduate degrees in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering. Since 1938, Zonta has awarded more than US$5.2 million for more than 1,000 fellowships to women from 56 countries.

The Young Women in Public Affairs Award Instituted in 1990, this annual award, held at the club, district and international levels, honours young women who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in public policy, government and volunteer organizations.

Applications and Instructions
In many cases, an applicant needs to apply for the award or scholarship at the local club level to qualify for awards in District 4 and Zonta International. Zonta Club members, please look in the Resources section for instructions and hints for the YWPA and Klausman awards at the club level.
