Goals and Objectives

The goal of the committee is to strengthen our identity and increase our profile in our community and throughout the district.

This committee will work closely with the District Membership/O & E Committee because the more knowledgeable the women are in our communities regarding Zonta, the easier it will be to attract new members. Every member of your club can serve as a public relations ambassador by informing the public of who we are and what we do. You may be speaking the first words about Zonta to a future member.

Computer communications has brought our world as well as our district closer. We have expertise in almost every field and profession at our fingertips from within our clubs. Your district committee chairs are available to the club chairs for assistance.

Every biennium, the goal of the public relations committee is to eradicate three simple words, “What is Zonta?” Our time has come! With the use of our informed public relation committees at the Club, District and International levels and with the use of the acquired communications skills, everyone will know “What Zonta is”.

As quoted in the International President’s Message “We must know who we are, be self–confident and believe in what we are doing, in order to convince others and really achieve something.
